I have been friends with a woman who told me she was diagnosed with Aspergers as a child. She told me this a long time ago. We have been very good friends, she seems to have a healthy life, job, boyfriend, etc but feels like her job is threatened and is fighting for custody of her kids. I have been on the receiving end of the wrath from Hell........because I had requested help with covering exposed ceiling that had mold. I am a tenant, and I have virtually no WBC and severe anemia, arthritis. She gave me a 30 day notice and said I had no right to call anyone. Then I explained that I had a legal right to protect my health. Bottom line she has expressed absolutely no remorse, will not help me move, has basically admitted she is being vicious and a bitch and does not care. In the mean time my physical health had collapsed, I sustained an injury to my eye from the Dryall particles that were in the air because she would not even let me sleep on the couch. After almost a year of being friends, she has treated me as if I had stolen her boyfriend or trashed her house..........the punishment is so severe. I have had to hire an attorney just to outline our rights. She has not even responded to my request to pay for the medical copay that is associated with my eye injury. I swear I feel like I am getting beaten with a rod. I did not remember that she had told me about her asperger diagnosis until about a week after the notice to vacate was sent to me...............so I guess I could have been a little more keen on what could happen. HOW IS IT THAT SOMEONE IS SO ANTISOCIAL AND SEEMING INTENT TO CAUSE HARM AND THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO. I AM VERY NERVOUS THAT AFTER I MOVE OUT SHE WILL KEEP ON ATTACKING ME. WHAT CAN I DO TO MINIMIZE THE SITUATION AND GET HER TO STOP ABUSING ME. I also have a disability and it is a severe physical disability and she literally doesn't give a damn at all.......not one ounce. She set up a fight between the other tenant and me and I am extra worried that this coming weekend she will set up another verbal altercation in front of her childern, just to make me look bad and to justify that she has asked me to leave. That will crush me as I really do care about her children................and I have nobody on my side.................nobody. She has successfully swayed the other tenant to hate me. Please help me....give me some advice. I move out on April 1st but I cannot move before then and I need to be here to pack this weekend when the kids are here.
